How do you calculate your exact age?
Your exact age is the number of complete years since your date of birth, plus the months and days that have passed since. Someone born on August 24, 1990 is exactly 36 years, 2 months and 6 days old on October 30, 2026.
So you never count in averages. Whole years first, then whole months from your last birthday, then the loose days. When the day of your birth month does not exist in the target month — 31 January in February, say — it moves to the last day of that month.
years since your date of birth → remaining whole months → remaining days
